In the early morning of November 24, local time, Ghanaian President Nana Akufo-Addo arrived in Doha, the capital of Qatar. He will meet with Qatar's Emir (Head of State) Tamim and watch the World Cup live.

The Qatar World Cup will be held from November 20 to December 18, 2022, the first time the Middle East and Arab region will host the World Cup. Ghana will face Portugal in the first group match at 17:00 local time on the 24th.
