African Super League to start in 2023

The African Football Confederation officially announced that the African Super League will be held from 2023, with a total of 24 participating teams and a total prize money of more than 100 million US dollars. The first African Super League will start in 2023, with a total of 24 participating teams, divided into three groups according to the region: North Africa, Central and West Africa, and Southeast Africa, with 6 teams in each group. The top 5 in each group plus the sixth-placed best group will advance to the round of 16, followed by a knockout round.
