26 year old Laum plays as a left back and has represented Leipzig in 40 matches this season, contributing 3 goals and 11 assists. Laum has represented the German national team in 20 matches and contributed 4 assists.

The German Football Association will announce some of the players selected for the European Championship in advance every day, and the complete list will be released this Thursday.
