The German team will start gathering for training on May 27th and will join the team at the base of the 2024 European Championship, Heizogenolach, on May 31st. As the host, the German team is in Group A of the European Championship group stage alongside Hungary, Scotland, and Switzerland. Before the start of the European Championship, the German team had two warm-up matches, one against Ukraine on June 3rd and the other against Greece on June 7th.
